Workout Programs Are Extremely Important for Good Fitness
You are probably aware of the fact that there are a ton of workout programs for sale on the internet. Most are probably junk, though better than nothing. However I want you to save your money and buy something that is actually going to help you get more physically fit and not empty your wallet.
Many workout programs are just a guide that shows illustration on how to do the workout exercises as well as having a plan on how many repetitions and sets to do of that workout. And while that is better than nothing for sure, I believe videos included int he program should be mandatory. Be careful as these programs aren’t interested in your success but only in your money.
Why am I harping on the videos? Certainly it isn’t that big of a deal right? WRONG! As you’ll read in a second, there are some major problems with just a paper guide on what exercises to do.
The major issue with this is two fold:
- it’s pretty boring. While that may not sound like a deal breaker it can really hurt your workout when you’re not having fun. It becomes mundane and monotonous. Over time this will lead to you resenting your workout and which makes you try less and less until eventually you give it up.
- The big problem with these workouts is that it’s hard to see good form. Exercise form is amazingly important, if you use improper form then not only will you not be targeting the muscle you might want, you may also be adding severe stress to odd parts of your body. This can cause severe injuries at worst or just oddly formed muscles as a lesser issue.
How Do Follow Along Videos in Workout Programs Solve these Issues?
- Follow along videos with workout programs make it so you’re not alone. You are watching at least one person doing the workout you want to do. This keeps you engaged in your work out and some programs actually have a whole class that does it with you. This way you can feel like you’re in their class while still being in the comfort of your own home.
- The best part about follow along videos is that it shows you proper form. They also usually discuss what proper form is and gives you ways to make sure you’re doing the exercise correctly. Proper exercise form works the correct muscles in the correct way. It also evenly uses each muscle, you don’t want one side of your body to be stronger or bigger than the other side.
Workout programs without follow along videos are definitely not worth your money. If you’re willing to invest some of your hard earned money in yourself and grab an exercise program then you’ll definitely want to spend your money with the highest possible rate of return.
