What Vitamins Help you Boost Your Energy Level?

I hate feeling tired, some days – especially in the winter here in Michigan I am always tired and sluggish. It’s not a great feeling, but I didn’t know it was because I was missing some key vitamins. By adding higher doses to my life I was able to feel so much better – naturally! Usually when we feel tired a lot it has a lot to do with our diet, high sugar and low exercise play a huge role in the lack of energy.

Not a vitamin or nutrient however exercising is a great way to get more energy! So try that as well as add these vitamins to your lifestyle and you should feel a lot better overall.

Vitamin D

Vitamin D is naturally produced by our bodies during sunlight, while too much sun is bad for our skin, too little is bad for ourselves. Low vitamin D can cause you to become extremely tired and you can have weakened bones.

In the winter months, especially for more northern areas vitamin D is extremely hard to get and most people become vitamin D deficient. In fact in places very far north such as Alaska, Russia and Scandinavia people have to spend an hour or so around a light in the house that mimics the sun and allows our bodies to produce Vitamin D.

Most people don’t need to get to that level, for most people taking a high quality Vitamin D pill once a week is enough to help you boost your energy and regain healthy levels of Vitamin D. I highly recommend this pill because it’s about the same as the one I was prescribed by my doctor and you take it once a week. I take this one now myself.

Vitamin B Complex

Vitamin B has numerous different types. They all can help with your energy, but the most important one is Vitamin B3 – niacin. Niacin is essential to our body and helps with many different ailments. In fact niacin can help promote healthy human growth hormone levels which can do some incredible things for our health, however our bodies produce less and less as we age.
