The Tribit SotrmBox is seriously waterproof. It can withstand being totally underwater up to 30 minutes in 3 feet of water.
To use the StormBox you simply press the power button. Then you have the option to connect to it with a Bluetooth device by holding down the Bluetooth button for a couple seconds or plug in an aux cord.
I found the connection to be very stable. With a clear line of connection, this speaker is rated up to 66 feet. This is very accurate when I tested the Bluetooth range outdoors.
Indoors, it is less than 66 feet and will vary depending on the number of walls and what your walls are made from.
Can you connect to the StormBox with an AUX cord?
Yes! You can totally go “old school” and connect to the speaker using a standard 3.5mm AUX cable.
What is the battery life?
This speaker is charged using a Micro USB cable (included) and takes about 3 hours to charge fully.
On a full charge, it can last up to 20 hours of playback time. This will vary and depend on the volume you play.
This little speaker has excellent sound quality and powerful bass considering the compact size. The speaker features a 360 sound projection.
